It IS possible to pause the game, but you have to press start over and over and over again, until the game finally realizes you've been pressing it.
Moving, shooting, pausing the game, everything, slowed down to a crawl. This of course renders the game completely unplayable. While I'm playing, the game will randomly start slowing down, the frame rate dropping constantly, down to the point where it's literally like 1 frame per second. I love Fallout, and normally I can forgive little bugs and whatnot, but this, this is TOO MUCH.
